As an apartment dweller with roommates and a small kitchen, I’m constantly looking for smart storage solutions to make my cramped space more functional. I’m a huge fan of vertical organization, including wall-mounted options (such as the reader-favorite spice rack that’s freed up tons of my cabinet space) and magnetic solutions. Of course, of the two styles, magnetic shelves and racks are preferred, since these drill-free organizers arrive ready to use.

Perhaps one of the best kitchen organizers I’ve put in my home is the Magnetic Wrap Holder from Yamazaki. This simple steel structure is designed to store plastic wrap, aluminum foil, parchment paper, sandwich bags, and more all while conveniently located on your fridge. You can save a ton of space in your cabinets with this $22 find and make accessing these frequently-used items a breeze. (That means no more having to squash down the boxes when they inevitably jam up your drawers.)
While we’ve recently covered another wrap organizer which can be stored under a cabinet shelf, this magnetic pick takes advantage of even more unused space. You can attach it to anything that can hold a magnet, so I affixed it to side of my microwave. I like that the unit isn’t too large, so it can comfortably fit on the microwave and ultimately turns an unused spot into amazing storage space. And, unlike plastic kitchen organizers that aren’t very sturdy, this one is made of steel — so you can expect it to hold up well over time.
The biggest impact this kitchen wrap organizer has made, however, is in freeing up cabinet space. For me, I hated storing these boxes in my cabinets and wasting all that precious space above them. Finally, the magnets are very strong, so you don’t have to worry about the organizer slipping down your fridge or moving when you reach for something. Although intended for wraps and sandwich bags, some reviewers use it for other items that they wanted to have more accessible, such as dog treats, cleaning sprays, or condiments. The compact size also means that you can also easily fit two side-by-side on your fridge.
For a small way to make your kitchen a little bit more functional, this $22 organizer is a perfect fit. Your space will instantly feel tidier!
