Mi 10 Pro: After so many delays, leaks and rumours. Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship Mi 10 Series at an event held on 27 March 2020. The Xiaomi Mi 10 series consists of three smartphones – the Mi 10 Lite, Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. So far, Xiaomi has launched these devices in Europe and selected markets. Later, it will be launched in other markets as well. However, Xiaomi scheduled the launch event of Mi 10 series in India on 31 March, but now it has been postponed due to Covid 19 Lockdown.
All three smartphones under Mi 10 Series comes with 5G connectivity. The Mi 10 Pro is the premium version of Mi 10 Series and offers high-end specifications and features. It will compete with Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Upcoming Oneplus 8 Pro etc high-end devices in Indian Market. The main highlights of the smartphone are 108MP Camera, Snapdragon 865 Processor and HDR 10+ Display. It will be available in two colour options Solstice Grey Blue and Alpine White colour.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Specification and Features
Coming to the Specifications and Features. It sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED HDR 10+ punch-hole Display. It is a Full HD+ Display with a screen resolution of 2340 X 1080 Pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Smartphone gets the glass back body which is made up of Mineral Glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
As far as performance is concerned, Mi 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Flagship Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. The same chipset also powers up the regular Mi 10. In terms of Storage, it gets 8GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage. It also gets VC Liquid Cooling technology.
Talking about Camera. The camera is one of the main highlights of Mi 10 Pro. It gets a Quad Camera Setup at the Rear. With a 108MP Primary Sensor with f/1.69 aperture and Pixel Size of 0.8μm. A 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. A 12MP Portrait Lens of 1.4μm large pixel size, 2PD autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. And an 8MP 10x hybrid zoom, f/2.0 aperture and 1.0μm pixel size. The camera also supports 8K Video Recording at 30fps. At the front, there is a 20MP Ultra-clear Front Camera for taking selfies.
Coming to the battery. The Battery of Mi 10 Pro is one of its main highlights. It gets a 4500mAh Built-in rechargeable battery with USB Type-C reversible connector port. The battery supports 50W wired fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The Xiaomi is giving 65W fast charger with the device.
Launch Date and Price in India
Xiaomi had scheduled the launch event of the Mi 10 series in India on 31 March 2020, but it has been postponed for a few days due to the Covid 19 lockdown. We can expect the launch of Mi 10 Series in India in the month of April or After the lockdown ends. As far as price is concerned, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10 Pro price tag of Euros 999 (around Rs. 83,000) in European Market. The Price of the smartphone in India is expected to be lower than in Europe. However, the final price will be announced at the time of its India launch.
