Tamar Braxton seems to be quite busy these days, and she’s getting involved in all kinds of projects. First of all, she has her own project with David Adefeso on her YouTube channel – a useful series called ‘Quarantine and Coupled.’
Now, The Shade Room just revealed that she would be hosting a new show on VH1!
TSR quotes Variety and notes that Tamar ‘is headed to VH1 as the host of the new reality series “To Catch A Beautician” along with Michelle Obama’s former hairstylist, Johnny Wright. The series has been picked up for 20 episodes, in which Tamar and Johnny will come to the rescue of clients whose hair has been botched by a beautician from their past.’
According to the notes coming from TSR, ‘Tamar and Johnny will then help the disgruntled clients confront the hairstylists who damaged their hair. The beauticians will be put through a rigorous hair boot camp by Johnny to ensure that this time the client will be left satisfied.’
A follower hopped in the comments and said: ‘This show is already funny & I haven’t even seen it yet,’ and someone else was really excited as well: ‘She’s funny and was the real star of The Real!!! Idc 🤷🏽♀️’
One other follower wrote: ‘This gon be about catching beauticians who still got their shop open while we’re supposed to be under quarantine.’
A commenter said: ‘She really has been on a comeback tour she coming for everything they said she’d never have yass Tamar,’ and someone else posted this message: ‘So y’all fixing people’s hair that fell out since middle school after that perm.’
A fan exclaimed: ‘Yes, queen. When one door closes, six more open,’ and one Instagrammer said that ‘Just hearing her say the word beautician is gonna bring music to my ears.’
Tamar made her fans excited recently when she was a guest star on a virtual series called Give Hope.
