Deadheads in need of a soundtrack for Thanksgiving dinner next week can spin up the “Thankfully Grateful” Grateful Dead live playlist curated by nugs.net. The 26-song collection was culled from live shows performed between 1973 and 1995.

Consisting of nearly four hours of choice live Grateful Dead recordings, “Thankfully Grateful” will stream from the start of Thanksgiving dinner through pumpkin pie dessert. “When I Paint My Masterpiece” from the Dead’s March 29, 1990 show at the Nassau Coliseum kicks off the playlist and is one of 10 Bob Dylan covers included in the set. Standby jam generator “Dark Star” appears twice, once from a 1973 improvisation and again from 1992. Other Grateful Dead live staples fill in the rest of the playlist that ends with a rendition of The Band’s “The Weight” from the encore of the the June 17, 1991 show in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
