Good weekend, fellow (home)travelers! As life continues to be insanely upside down and continually throwing us all for a loop, spectacular music is more necessary than ever! I had to honor of listening to this neo-classical composer recently and her work wowed me, inspired me, and brought a sense of calm to my chaotic life. The power of neo-classical music, with its dynamics and movements, is not always executed as seamlessly as Cristina delivers with the album “Ex Voto.” But the star piece has to be one of the most beautifully written melancholic melodies for piano, violin, and cello that I’ve heard in a long time. I will post the link to the track via youtube below and also the gorgeously choreographed performance by the Charlotte Ballet to this piece. May this song bring you comfort as it did me this week.
