Like most touring musicians currently on the road, Mexican psych rock band Lorelle Meets The Obsolete had the rest of their current trek across the United States and Canada cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help the members of the band get home, they launched a GoFundMe campaign this morning.

The Guadalajara, Jalisco band has been supporting their 2019 studio album De Facto as well as the most b-sides/remixes collection Re-Facto along with the band The Underground Youth. Two of the members of the band, drummer Andrea Davi and bassist Fernando Nuti have to fly home to Italy and the rest of the five piece band (vocalist/guitarist Lorena Quintana, multi-instrumentalist The Obsolete and synth/keyboard player José Orozco Mora) have the task to drive their van back to Mexico with their instruments, gear and unsold merch. Since they were living gig to gig, they need financial help to get home.

You can check the details and make a donation in this link. Tour mates The Underground Youth have also set a GoFundMe page to help with the costs of getting home; you can find their crowdfunding effort in the same link.

Another way to help the band is by downloading their whole discography through Bandcamp. They have set all their releases as “name-your-price” so you can download everything for free or purchase them by paying whatever you want. If you have the means, try to donate money through this channel as well.
