Looks like Sofia Falcone isn’t settling with The Penguin! A new rumor suggests that Cristin Milioti is set to play a large role in The Batman Part II
It’s no secret that Cristin Milioti has become the breakout star of The Penguin. Her enigmatic presence as Sofia Falcone captured fans across the globe as they watched her struggles against Colin Farrel’s Oz Cobb. And after the most recent episode’s delve deep into her dark past, many fans are hoping that she gets at least some form of screen time in The Batman Part II.
Those wishes seem to be granted. A new rumor from scooper MyTimeToShineHello reveals that Cristin Milioti is set to have a big role in The Batman Part II as Sofia Falcone. It wasn’t defined what type of role she would play, be it as a villain or an ally to the Batman himself. However, this does confirm that the character is more likely than not set to survive her encounter with Oz Cobb in The Penguin.
How Sofia Falcone Could Play Into The Batman Part II
Just like any comic book property, the best place to look for hints about where The Batman Part II could take Sofia Falcone is to look to the comics. The most prominent storyline that Sofia Falcone has been featured in was The Long Halloween. However, given the events of episode 1 of The Penguin, it’s more likely than not Matt Reeves is adapting a different story with Cristin Milioti’s character.
Another possible storyline that could be adapted in The Batman Part II could be Batman: Dark Victory, where Sofia Falcone takes her aim at Harvey Dent. This would line up with prior teases about a potential Two-Face series set in Matt Reeve’s universe, as well as the dark direction Cristin Milioti’ is taking the character in The Penguin. Then again, it’s entirely possible the story could be an original one not adapted from any comic.
The Batman Part II is set to release on October 2, 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding The Batman universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
