DBL group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) on 15th September 2022 at the VC Seminar Room which was organized by the Department of Textile Engineering, Aust.
The ultimate purposes of this MoU signing are to support organizational development by identifying and developing AUST undergraduate students for industrial attachments, providing a structured set of soft skills, IT skills, and business skills, and introducing problem-based learning methods.
A bunch of guests from both the DBL group and AUST were present there. In this ceremony, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice Chancellor of AUST; M.A. Rahim, Vice Chairman, DBL Group; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Treasurer In Charge of AUST; Mohammed Zahidullah, Chief Sustainable Office, DBL Group; Mohammad Kamal Hosen, General Manager, Corporate HR, DBL Group and Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral, Head of the Textile Engineering Department, AUST were present as guests among others respected faculty members of the Textile Engineering Department of AUST.
Nairita Khan Oishi, Vice President of the AUST Textile Society, started the ceremony with a heartfelt welcome speech. Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral inaugurated the ceremony with his speech. He thanked the DBL Group for their cooperation and support. He also mentioned that this type of collaboration will provide the students with valuable opportunities.
He said, ”We have had a good relationship with the DBL group for a long time. We are very good partners especially for the development of teaching quality, student quality as well as knowledge sharing partners. I’m very much delighted to welcome you all to this type of program. We hope this MoU will enhance our future partnership.”
After that, all the presented guests delivered their speeches and wished for a long-term collaboration between these two.
Mohammad Kamal Hosen, General Manager, Corporate HR, DBL Group said, ”I am really glad to be present at this moment. You will be happy to know that DBL group recruited the maximum number of fresh graduates from AUST in terms of Textile Engineer and till now we have hired 284 graduates from AUST and I believe that through the signing of this MoU our relationship and our scopes of work. It will be more effective and this project will succeed by the cordial activists of the both sides.”
He also mentioned the very clear vision of the DBL group for hiring fresh graduates and their process to requite fresh graduates. They are searching for dynamic students who are capable with both knowledge and skills.
The vice-chairman of DBL Group, M.A.Rahim said, ”Without vision and mission, you can’t succeed in life. Only bookish knowledge can’t make anyone success. We are getting a lot of graduates but not getting a good leader.”
He also told about the company and about their success. How they started at the beginning and came to this position with their dedication for hard work. They want fresh graduates who have the leadership skills, and who can face future challenges.
After completing all the speeches by the other guests, the precious moments came when both signed the memorandum of understanding and handed over the tokens of gratitude to the guests.
Both the AUST and DBL Group will be beneficial with this MoU Signing. The students of AUST will get the opportunity directly from the DBL group to nourish themselves to the job and will achieve industrial skills besides their academic curriculum. Hope this MoU signing lasts long and brings the betterments for the students.
