The John Wick franchise is headed back to theaters! The first trailer of Ballerina unveils a truly thrilling spin-off starring Ana De Armas.

While fans expected the John Wick series to die with the fourth installment, it seems that was only the start to Lionsgate’s plans with the series. The franchise has greenlit half a dozen projects set within its universe, with its prequel series The Continental releasing last year to decent success. Now fans have a trailer for the first theatrical spin-off Ballerina, starring Ana De Armas and produced by Keanu Reeves himself.

Ballerina centers around an international assassin named Rooney played by Ana De Armas. The character was orphaned at a young age, and now sets to take revenge on the killers. The spin-off is written by John Wick alum Shay Hatten and directed by Total Recall reboot director Len Wiseman. The full trailer for the project can be seen below, and may feature some familiar cameos to fans of the franchise!

Ballerina is an attempt to expand the John Wick franchise beyond the characters established in the first saga. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any crossovers! Ana De Armas will be joined in her spin-off by Ian McShane’s Winston Scott and Keanu Reeves himself as John Wick. The project will also feature a posthumous cameo by Lance Reddick as The Continental’s concierge Charon.

The spin-off will also bring new faces into the world of John Wick. While some of those faces were seen in the trailer, the remainder of the principal cast alongside Ana De Armas includes Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Castañeda, and Anjelica Huston as The Director.
