Josh Fudge – “Garden of Eden”
-This song is about an obsession with someone captivating. It does with a hook-heavy vocal and a nice funky beat. It’s one of those songs that even if you can’t relate right now, I bet at some point you were infatuated like this. I appreciate the metaphors here that let us all dream of someone in our own special way. Let’s get moving with this chilled out soulful pop track.
Mt Joy – “Strangers”
-Feeling more like big time folk than a typical “dance” tune, Mt Joy get your toes tapping in a different way. But if hang on for the chorus I guarantee you will be moving to this unconventional track. The vocals have this saucy attitude to them that always make me a fan of Mt Joy. The beat on this track gets me wanting to fly out of my chair and dance like it’s SXSW and we’re at a huge outdoor concert.
