$SP.00) is flying for Dan Morton and it’s hard to get away from her. 2/2 this time in, the latest win being over this track/distance two weeks ago where she had full momentum and surged best to get the win over Keep Attacking. They look the main two, but I am siding with this girl 3 Keep Attacking is racing really well at present and commands respect. You can make a case to say he should have won the race mentioned above. He got badly held up at the wrong time before eventually getting clear and drove hard late to miss. If the breaks go his way, he’ll be a threat I am sure and look the winner at some stage.again.

$SP.00) comes back to 1200m and I think that will suit him given he ran over 1400m two weeks back and did work to the line okay but I just think 1400m at this level is a bridge too far. Much better suited here, kind map…dangerous at odds if there is petrol still left in the tank.

$SP.00) looks a pretty good prospect for Michael Grantham and I think the rise to 1300m is ideal. He debuted over 1200m at Bunbury where he got off the speed and although he took a little to wind into his work, he was very good late in the piece. The rise to 1300m suits, he’ll be strong late and has more upside than most engaged.

$SP.00) can bounce back hard here. They rode him very cold a fortnight back over 1200m here and it didn’t work out. He got back in the run and was never a factor when down the track behind Perfect Chant. Like him up to 1300m and drawn better, he can settle much closer and take beating.

3 Snippy Sean (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) will be strong late and although he comes back in trip, he commands some level of respect I say after a win over 1400m here, giving them a start and a beating, letting down with purpose late to win and win well. Heading in the right direction and strikes a winnable race.

$SP.00) is a talented mare for Luke Fernie and I think she can resume with a win here. She is first up, having not raced since June 1 over this track/distance when just off the speed and was a bit plain late behind Kings Honour but I do think it was an end of prep run. Trial to get ready was sharp and she finds a very winnable race for the return.

5 Fameux (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) commands respect for Team Williams. He ran over this track/distance a fortnight back when off the speed and kept chasing but was held late. That said, the winner Real Deluxe goes pretty good and would be close to favourite here so the form reads well. Leading contender.

6 Golden Fighter (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) brings Carnarvon form, which isn’t exactly form to jump and down about when it comes to a Saturday at Belmont, but he isn’t racing too bad at present. Total forgive last time when five wide no cover throughout and had to tire, which he did. I doubt he wins, but I think he could pinch first four at a big price.

$SP.00) should be taking care of these. He ran over this track/distance two weeks ago when on speed and was there to put the race away but he couldn’t quite see it through when second to Buckets Ridge. I reckon he will be better horse with a more patient steer so if that eventuates, I think good luck beating him.

$SP.00) is the class runner of the field and should appreciate a rise to the mile after resuming over 1200m in the Nicopolis when back in the run and failed to make up any real headway behind Man Crush. Better set up and even with the impost, he commands respect.

6 Fine Touch (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) comes back in trip which I find interesting. She ran over 2100m here two weeks back, her first run in several weeks, and just couldn’t quite see it through, tiring late. I think with that run under the belt, she’ll be in good stead here and for mine is a knockout hope.

$SP.00) is two weeks between runs for Team Williams after racing over 1300m here where he got a mile back in the run and spotted those in front too much head start but I did like the way he finished his race off in defeat. Up in trip I like and hard to beat if he can settle closer.

$SP.00) has the engine under the hood but he doesn’t have the best of racing patterns, which was seen three weeks ago at this track/distance where he got back to near last in the run and made up good ground late in the piece without threatening behind In Good Order. If he can settle closer, he takes beating.

9 Sketta (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) comes back to the mile, which I find interesting. She ran over 2200m at Northam at the midweeks last time and was solid in defeat but I just don’t think run the trip behidn Super Romani. Back in trip I don’t mind and is one for wider exotics.

$SP.00) has been racing like he will love the rise to 2200m and with upside, he’s the one to beat I say. He ran over the mile here last Saturday where he got a fair way out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat behind impressive winner In Good Order. Up in trip I do like and this isn’t a deep staying race.

$SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it for Team Pearce. He won over this trip at Northam last time, getting better as the race went on and finished best to win and win well. He has run well here previously and off a win, commands respect.

8 Set The Scene (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a Carnarvon raider that comes here in okay form. He gapped them two back over 1700m before going to the Carnarvon Cup last time where he tried hard but was held late behind Gambler’s Gold. The query is the trip…not sure he wins but can run top four.

$SP.00) is the way I am leaning here for Team Williams. He put together a couple of wins on the bounce before racing over 1300m here two weeks ago when on speed and tried his guts out but had to settle for a close up second to Odinaka. Back up to 1400m, in form, good racing style, appeals big time.

$SP.00) is racing in consistent form for Neville Parnham and commands respect. She ran over this track/distance last time and was game in defeat, for a few strides looking the winner but couldn’t quite see it through when nabbed late by Trio. Racing well and should be around the mark once again.

2 Mama Tembu (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1400m. She was down the track behind Odinaka in the race mentioned above, where she got back to near last in the run and made up some headway without threatening. Good record at the track/distance and is a threat at odds if she can settle closer.

14 Laced Up Heels (Bet Now: $8.50) is a quality mare for Luke Fernie that resumes and I think she can resume with a win. She ended last prep in Adelaide when near the speed in the Proud Miss at Morphettville and she didn’t disgrace herself in defeat behind Boognish. Not a noted fresh horse but has trialled up well for her return and given her record, I think she’s very well in at the weights.

10 Frigid (Bet Now: $6.50) stays at 1200m, which I find interesting, but she does have a touch of quality about her. She resumed a fortnight back in the Nicopolis where she seemingly had every chance near the speed but just lacked the change up speed to go with them late when third to Man Crush. Better for the run, I say she commands respect.

7 Super Smink (Bet Now: $16.00) is a fascinating runner. Dan Morton trained mare that was once upon a time sitting behind Amelia’s Jewel as the second best horse in WA but the wheels have well and truly fallen off. She had a disappointing Autumn but has been given a good break, trial was solid, she can sprint well fresh and her best is better than these, so I say watch the market.

$SP.00) just how good is she? 5/5 to start her career, the latest win being three weeks ago over this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating and loved the way she found late when asked for the effort. Tricky draw, but she’s unbeaten and potentially could have a bit on these.

6 Sentimental Belle (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a ripping mare for Team Williams and is a key threat. Four weeks between runs after racing over 1200m here, where she got off the speed and worked home with real purpose when second to a potential Stakes class animal for Toropa. That reads very well for this.

Long Shot

This is a good test for 4 Russian Sniper (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) but I think he has earned a crack. Several weeks between runs for Adam Durrant since a strong win here, getting held up at times before eventually getting clear and drove hard late to score. Confident he can measure up.
